CLINIC SUPPORT TRAINER – PERMANENT, FULL-TIME
Location: Auckland (with regular travel to Tāmaki Health clinics and management support office; occasional nationwide travel)

About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on Clinic Support Trainer to join our team in a permanent, full-time capacity. In this vital role, you will provide Medtech training and support to clinic teams across multiple locations. You will design and deliver tailored training sessions, troubleshoot system issues, and develop clear, user-friendly training resources to ensure our front-of-house teams feel confident and competent in using the Medtech system.
This role is primarily based in Auckland and involves regular travel to Tāmaki Health-operated clinics, including White Cross, Local Doctors, and partner clinics, as well as our Management Support Office in Ellerslie. Occasional travel to regional clinics in Whangārei, Palmerston North, and Christchurch is also required.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver hands-on Medtech training to new and existing staff through one-on-one and small group sessions
- Provide on-site support in clinics to troubleshoot and resolve system and process issues
- Develop, update, and maintain Medtech user guides, quick reference materials, and other training resources
- Identify recurring user issues and collaborate with clinic managers to recommend improvements in training and processes
- Manage your training schedule effectively while travelling across multiple clinic locations
- Work closely with clinic managers, coordinators, and support teams to ensure consistent Medtech use
What You Bring
- Proven expertise in Medtech, ideally Medtech Evolution or a similar patient management system
- Experience delivering training in healthcare or administrative settings
- Excellent written communication skills, capable of producing clear and accessible user documentation
- Patient, approachable, and calm communicator, especially under pressure
- Strong organisational skills, self-motivated, and able to work independently while connected to the team
- Full, unrestricted New Zealand driver’s licence
- Legal right to work in New Zealand and compliance with the Vulnerable Children Act 2014
