Tech Mahindra is on the hunt for one Cloud Infrastructure Consultant to join their technical team based out of Auckland[BH1] , New Zealand for full time work.
Cloud Infrastructure Consultants at Tech Mahindra will be required to perform the following key roles & responsibilities:
· Deploy and configure IBM Turbonomic to automate resource allocation and workload optimization
· Analyze and recommend performance improvements and cost-saving measures of infrastructure components, including ESXi hosts, virtual machines, and cloud resources
· Integrate Turbonomic with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure and GCP and on-prem environments
· Diagnose incidents and identify root causes using Turbonomic's advanced monitoring and analytics capabilities
· Perform proactive maintenance tasks to ensure the efficient utilization and allocation of infrastructure resources
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define and implement monitoring and optimization strategies based on the insights derived from Turbonomic
- Support cloud cost forecasting and budget planning
To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a relevant tertiary qualification and must demonstrate knowledge and experience with IBM Turbonomic features and integration with external systems for deployment, optimization and maintenance on cloud and on-prem systems having a flare for FinOps and DevOps, especially in the Telecommunication domain.
Applicants with at least 12 years of Cloud Infrastructure management experience with the below skillsets will be preferred:
- Hands-on experience with IBM Turbonomic deployment and optimization
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms – AWS, Azure, GCP
- Understanding of Virtualization, Kubernetes, and Container orchestration
- Experience in FinOps frameworks, cloud cost modeling and optimization
- Experience in implementation and migration of OpenShift Container Platform
- Ability to create custom dashboards and reports for cost insights
- Familiarity with Dynatrace and Service Now, and the ability to integrate these tools with Turbonomic
- Enterprise Vault solutions (Hashicorp Vault) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation etc.)
- Strong consulting, stakeholder management and advisory experience in large-scale enterprise IT environments
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams
- Certifications in IBM Turbonomic is preferred
- FinOps Certifications is preferred
Salary
The gross salary range for this position is between NZD $120,000 to NZD $140,000 per annum over a 40-hour work week. Other benefits include health and welfare insurance for you and your family.
