We have a fantastic permanent opportunity for a motivated and commercially savvy Commercial Analyst to join a large and rapidly growing company in the healthcare sector.
The successful applicant will bring a positive outlook to the workplace and will have the motivation and enthusiasm to bring successful results to the company. We are looking for someone to assist the Commercial Manager all the financial analytics for this company and establish a high performing finance platform.
This role will report to the Commercial Manager and add value by telling the story behind the numbers as well as continuously improving processes. It is vital that you are strong on financial modeling and able to derive meaningful insights from the data for the organisation. Having very strong attention to detail and financial accuracy is an absolute must for this role, as you will be a key player in enabling the growth of the business, and aiding key decision making for the ELT and Board.
Additionally, you will be the driving force behind M&A activity across the organisation, which is expanding significantly through acquisition across New Zealand. You will lead the due diligence and acquisition process end-to-end, working closely with the Commercial Manager, CFO and CEO, and play a key role in what the future of the business looks like.
.Responsibilities for the role include:
- Delivering data insights, dissemination and sound understanding of financial and performance drivers to CPM and CFO.
- Ability to deep drive into insights to translating key findings into business plans for leadership team discussions and action.
- Identifying value add opportunities through the application of insightful financial analysis.
- Providing sound commercial and analytical support to operations to deliver profitable and sustainable growth across their business unit(s).
- Modelling opportunities for stakeholders as required and / or supporting FP&A business partners as required on new opportunities modelling.
- Contributing and leading of discussions on insights, key findings with relevant senior stakeholders.
- Supporting the finance team as needed with the ongoing development of systems and processes in the business to ensure they are best-in-class for a business of Tamaki Health’s size and complexity.
