We run a busy food bar in Kainga Christchurch where we deal with over 200 -300 customers daily and for this reason, we are looking for all rounder/ cook to prepare & serve our customers with delicious food items.

Hourly rate - $24P/H
Role & responsibilities which may include but not limited to the following:
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to menu specifications
- Ensuring the quality and consistency in food prepared.
- Following food handling procedures
- Presenting or packaging food products
- Ensuring the Cleanliness in the kitchen
- Ensuring utensils are kept clean
- Serving order to customers at counters.
- Achieving all safely, hygiene & food quality targets
- Ensure all food is made with attention to quality, hygiene, and presentation
- Assist in inventory management and ingredient preparation
- To assist the manager in compiling menus or changes to menus depending on the customer demands.
- Variation in the regular menu dishes as per the customer taste and demand
- Inventory ordering from suppliers according to the foodbar demands.
- Complete work in a timely manner
- Ensure all cooking procedures and efficient and economical
- Always wear proper uniforms with high grooming standards
- All other duties as required by management
Skills Requirements:
- Either a minimum of 1 years of relevant work experience is required OR any relevant tertiary-level qualification minimum Level 4 or higher can be considered in case of no experience (Overseas equivalent qualification is also acceptable)
- Proficiency in various cooking techniques.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in busy environment and to work independently.
- Willing to work during weekends/public holidays.
