Mō tēnei tūranga | About the opportunity
We are excited to announce a brand-new and high-impact opportunity for a Global Brand & Marketing Manager to join our team on a permanent basis at our vibrant Head Office on Fanshawe Street, Auckland.
In this role you will be responsible for end-to-end brand marketing strategy, implementation and execution aligning to our brand identity and messaging framework. Deeply understanding our various brand / audience personas, their journeys and the brand marketing touchpoints, ensuring effective, efficient and consistent communications. Supporting both in-house, regional and global execution. Acting as the brand champion across the business.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Develop brand and marketing strategies to boost engagement and deliver effective communications for key audiences.
- Provide a unified audience strategy with clear guidelines for cohesive messaging through Fonterra’s brand architecture.
- Manage the brand marketing budget to optimise resource allocation.
- Collaborate across business units to ensure alignment and consistency.
- Work closely with creative and marketing teams to create strong content and campaigns.
- Oversee the full marketing calendar for core narratives and target audiences.
Mōu | About you
You are a strategic Global Brand & Marketing Manager who excels at developing and executing unified brand and marketing strategies across digital and traditional channels. You deeply understand audience personas and their journeys, ensuring effective, consistent communication at every touchpoint.
You collaborate widely building partnerships across teams to deliver cohesive messaging and memorable campaigns. Data-driven and creative, you champion the brand and optimise marketing impact, leading storytelling and content across all platforms.
Other key attributes include:
- Minimum of six years’ experience in brand and marketing roles, including both client and agency environments, with proven team leadership. A degree in marketing or a related field is required.
- Proven expertise in managing end-to-end brand and marketing initiatives, particularly within mid-sized to large global brands or agencies, and experience with both B2B and B2C marketing.
- Demonstrated ability in developing and executing brand strategy.
- Strong track record in managing external third parties and agencies to achieve optimal outcomes.
- In-depth understanding of audience-driven journeys and how to identify and drive them effectively.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
