As a Senior Analyst in the Deals - Corporate Finance team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality business valuations, M&A advice, financial modelling and business case development services.
Based in our Hamilton office, you’ll be part of a close-knit team, which means you’ll have the opportunity to work directly alongside senior leaders while gaining exposure to both local and national projects. We offer services to a wide range of clients - including mid-market privately owned businesses, high-profile corporates, public sector agencies, and Māori organisations - to deliver impactful advisory outcomes. With our ‘all hands on deck’ approach and a supportive team, you’ll be empowered to learn quickly and contribute meaningfully.
Ngā pūkenga kei a koe / Skills and experience
Tertiary qualification in Finance/Accounting/Commerce or a related discipline (e.g., economics, mathematics/statistics, law, engineering).
Progress towards CFA or CA qualifications is desirable.
Experience in Corporate Finance, commercial, or financial markets, preferably with a "Big 4" or similar firm.
Proven advanced Excel proficiency alongside experience in financial modeling, valuations, and driving M&A processes.
Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and proven relationship-building capabilities.
A proactive attitude, with excellent time management and organisational skills, thriving in fast-paced environments.
