Depot Manager

What you will enjoy doing

• A hands-on role, managing our New Plymouth Depots, overseeing daily operations to support the cylinder market
• Ensure all distribution and filling activities are carried out safely and efficiently for LPG cylinders
• Train staff to ensure all procedures follow company standards, delivering quality service to both internal and external customers
• You will track and report productivity and efficiency
• Find opportunities for improvement, creating cost-effective solutions and address problems quickly
• Also, you will manage the distribution team to achieve company goals, set individual objectives and performance expectations, and conduct formal development assessments

What makes you great

• You have more than two years experience in the Gas Industry, or a related industry with similar dynamics, with logistics/distribution experience at a supervisory level
• Class 2 license with 2+ years delivery driving experience driving a manual transmission
• Be physically fit, as there is lots of heavy lifting involved
• A strong commitment to Health and Safety, and a solid understanding of compliance processes to meet statutory requirements
• Further, you have a proven leadership and relationship-building abilities, coupled with strong decision-making, problem solving and written and verbal communication skills
