Depot Supervisor

A hands-on role that includes running the regional depot, handling day-to-day plant operations, and making deliveries to support the local cylinder market.
What you will enjoy doing
- You will lead depot operations and supervise delivery drivers, including managing schedules, leave, and seasonal coverage to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Further, you will ensure safety compliance and best practices, including vehicle checks, PPE usage, manual handling, and conducting regular safety meetings
- Coordinate and perform timely and efficient cylinder deliveries, ensuring a high standard of customer service and operational efficiency
- Maintain accurate depot inventory and records, including monthly stock counts for cylinders, appliances, and consumables
- Also, you will collaborate with the Business Manager on staff performance, conducting appraisals, setting goals, and addressing customer feedback for continuous improvement
What makes you great
- Full Class 2 licence with at least 2 years of delivery driving experience
- You have already demonstrated experience in a similar position
- Strong commercial awareness is required in this role and strong people management skills
- Experienced with working with customer management systems
- Strong focus on safety is required in this role
- You own knowledge of LPG products
