Te āheinga: The opportunity
As the Digital Experience Specialist (content & social) you'll play a key role in strengthening Unitec's online presence and engagement delivering user-centric digital journeys and content. Responsible for building and maintaining our web & social media presence, as well as the management and development of our eDM programme and data segmentation, you will have a holistic view of the customer's digital experience, and work to provide superior CX across multiple digital channels and touch points.
You'll thrive in a collaborative environment, which will see you partnering closely with our product, international, insights, communications, operations, and social media teams from across the business to create highly effective digital marketing and communications. You'll ensure all digital planning, content, campaigns, and strategies are aligned and that stakeholders across the business have the appropriate knowledge, support, and training to enable the delivery of excellent customer journeys.

He kōrero mōu: About you:
You'll have:
- A tertiary level marketing qualification
- At least 5 years proven, relevant experience creating and deploying engaging digital content across platforms and properties.
- Excellent copywriting and editing skills
- Strong UX focus
- Good technical understanding of CMS, marketing automation, databases, social media, and email platforms
- Intermediate HTML skills
- Solid experience using GA4, search console, tag manager.
- Expertise in crafting digital assests, using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator or Photoshop. Video editing.
- An understanding or desire to learn te reo Māori and tikanga Māori and the values and practices of Kaupapa Māori
