About the Role
Are you keen to drive digital adoption and capability across our organisation? Join us as a Digital Optimisation Specialist, where you’ll partner with teams to maximise the use of digital systems, improve processes, and deliver real business value. You’ll help shape our digital roadmap and enable lasting change by empowering people to more confidently use tools and technologies.
Key responsibilities of this role include..
- Collaborate with leaders and stakeholders to optimise usage and effectiveness of digital systems and processes
- Lead the identification and planning of digital initiatives that align with business goals and strategy
- Champion change management and support successful digital adoption
- Advise on digital roadmap to align and prioritise digital projects with organisational needs.
- Collaborate across digital and business functions to drive measurable improvements in productivity and operational efficiency.
Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:
- 7+ years in digital transformation, process improvement and organisational change roles
- Proven success driving system adoption and business change
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, ideally in manufacturing, supply chain or industrial environments
- Experience with enterprise systems (e.g., SAP), improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) and change frameworks (e.g. ADKAR, Kotter, Lewin)
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; certifications in Business Improvement or Change Management preferred
This role will be based at our Christchurch site in Dunsandel with some flexibility to work in the city centre, whilst Synlait supports flexible working, we will not consider a remote working arrangement.
