Our Opportunity:
We're looking for an experienced and driven End User Compute Lead to take ownership of Mercury's end-user experience. Reporting to the Cloud & Infrastructure Platforms Manager, this role plays a key part in ensuring our people have access to secure, seamless, and high-performing technology services.
As a strategic contributor and technical leader, you'll design and implement solutions that align with business needs, drive efficiencies through automation, and mentor a high-performing team focused on user experience.
Key Accountabilities:
- Lead and oversee user standard operating environments.
- Communicate operational and support expectations to the design team.
- Collaborate with technology partners and internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional service experiences.
- Promote, support and work to Our Attitude to maintain a High Performance Team.
- Work collaboratively with Technology partners to proactively manage and maintain the operational health and security of the platform within agreed standards and service levels.
- Assist with delivery estimation and risk assessments.
- Ensure alignment with relevant Technology Compliance, Governance and Project Management processes
We are looking for:
- 3+ years' experience building, managing, and deploying standard operating environment images with proven expertise in Microsoft, Citrix, VMware, and AWS technologies.
- Strong technical leadership experience with the ability to effectively engage, mentor, and lead technical teams.
- It is preferred that you have expertise in SCCM, SCOM, InTune Management Tools, and application packaging, with strong knowledge of Directory Services and Cloud Business Productivity Suites.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with expert knowledge of troubleshooting and root cause analysis processes.
