The Customer Tribe work across ASB Bank to drive automation for a variety of initiatives through specialist software. The tribe is a mix of collaborative experts who simply love enabling automation, making life easy for ASBers and our Customers.
As an Enterprise Test lead, you will apply your experience in banking domain, and test management experience to help lead the squads in building, supporting, and maintaining our applications and contribute to the overall testing processes within the project.
You'll be part of a program/ project on the forefront of working to deliver and support a secure, functional and performance ecosystem to our customers. We advocate agile, fully cross functional squads which will take you through all facets of engineering in any given day. We are looking for a mix of CRM experience in banking domain, test management and technical testing skills to support the following activities:
- Reviewing requirements and specifications.
- Creating agile testing strategies and plans.
- Fostering proactive and continuous improvements within the testers' community.
- Working with key stakeholders for testing end to end, UAT, post-production testing and obtain sign-off.
- Manage test design, planning and execution.
- Building and supporting test automation.
- Building and supporting performance testing.
- Verifying and validating functionality being developed.
- Analysing and reporting test results.
- Ensuring we are meeting our internal control requirements

We are looking for an individual that will lead the testing within a large programme of work. Someone who not only understands good QA practice that includes engineered test automation & performance testing, but also someone who can provide non-line management leadership to squads. A person who can own and report the overall test status and provide QA guidance to the wider cross border domain squads, leaders, and stakeholders.
Our technical solutions, drive continuous change for the squads and customers to ensure we are delivering best possible outcomes. You will work collaboratively with our squads and stakeholders to be the voice of test engineering and deliver better & safer customer experiences.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Extensive enterprise test management experience and proven testing leadership with large or complex projects/ programs.
- Proven knowledge across functional testing, system testing, integration testing, API testing, end to end testing, user acceptance testing, automation testing and performance testing.
- Manage and coordinate project/ program level end to end testing activities with multiple squads.
- Working with key stakeholders (internal/external) for testing end to end, user acceptance testing and obtain sign- off.
- Create and maintain enterprise level test strategies/ test plans that includes approach for technical testing (test automation & non-functional testing) components.
- Capture, track and escalate status, risks, and issues to management.
- Experience on test estimating, negotiating and prioritizing of work.
- Provide test sign off against test coverage, execution, defects, and risks.
- Develop strong positive stakeholder relationships over a continuous release stream.
- Develop sustainable and agile test processes that incorporate test automation.
- Manage complex integrated test environments and test data.
- Mentoring/ guiding on standards and best practices.
- In-depth technical capabilities to grow .Net / RestSharp / Selenium/ BDD test automation.
- Working knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Has foster proactive and continuous improvements to a testing community.
- 5+ years of experience of test management in Banking or similar industry.
In addition, the following would be an advantage:
- Salesforce certifications
- Certified in ISTQB Fundamentals / Advanced Test Manager level.
