We are looking for a senior consultant within the Valuations, Modelling and Economics team. The role is available in Auckland and is offered on a full-time basis. The role offers a great opportunity for career development working in a high-performing team.
Ko Tō Rourou | Your key responsibilities
- Conducting financial analysis, preparing reports and advising on matters such as the value of businesses, value of long-term incentive schemes, dividend policies, capital structure and general corporate finance advice.
- Conducting financial model builds or reviews to support clients in strategic and operational decision making across a range of industries.
- Understanding clients’ business needs and providing insights on valuation and modelling matters.
- Supporting the team by guiding and coaching team members both in the preparation of client deliverables and informal ad-hoc help.
Ngā Pūkenga | Skills and attributes for success
- A track record of strong performance in corporate finance, including valuation and financial modelling
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills including an advanced level of MS Excel and financial modelling.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels with internal and external contacts.
- The ability to write clear and concise reports / client deliverables
- A commitment to a strong positive team culture and enthusiasm for developing and coaching junior team members.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- A degree qualification in a related discipline such as Business, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics or Economics
- Relevant experience (this may include a consulting or accounting environment, banking, or relevant corporate roles)
- A relevant professional qualification (e.g., CA or CFA), which you may either have completed already or are currently progressing towards
