- This position is office based
You'll provide local facilities support across multiple sites, requiring regular travel between offices in your region. As a valued team player, you'll also provide back up Workplace support as required, reflecting our commitment to Kotahitanga - working as one.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensure our office environments are maintained to a high standard
- Work with contractors, service providers and suppliers, overseeing activities and ensuring agreed standards at met
- Initiate ordering, purchasing or quotes for work or supplies and validate completion.
- Support the development of facilities management plans and schedules for sites.
- Provide accurate and timely reporting on facilities-related metrics.
- Work closely with our Corporate Property partners, and build and maintain strong relationships with our NZTA staff, subtenants and other building occupants
- Work in partnership with NZTA Health Safety & Wellbeing, and Security teams and other partners to ensure facilities meet relevant requirements.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of consistent facilities management practices.
- Provide support and cover for other workplace support functions as required.
Ko koe tenei | About you
- Understanding of building maintenance, office operations, and supplier management.
- Previous experience in facilities, property, or a related field. Experience in planning office moves or minor fit-outs is a plus.
- Sound knowledge of health and safety, and security practices related to office environments and service and trade contractors.
- Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills, with experience in contractor relationships.
- Confident, organised, and able to manage competing demands with practical judgement
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and confident handling administration tasks.
- Clean, full NZ driver licence, and the ability to travel confidently to office sites across the region
