About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Outpatient Appointment Coordinator to join our Ophthalmology team. If you're organised, people-focused, and thrive in fast-paced environments, this could be your next opportunity!

As the Appointment Coordinator, you’ll be the vital link in ensuring efficient outpatient clinic operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating and booking patient appointments in a timely, clinically appropriate manner
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and managing appointment waitlists
  • Supporting internal and external stakeholders with top-tier customer service
  • Producing booking and waitlist data for service managers to support clinic planning and resource optimisation
  • Contributing as a senior member of the admin team to service improvements and innovation in patient experience

About you:

You’ll bring a strong background in administrative support, with a sharp eye for detail and a calm, professional presence.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • At least 1-2 years’ experience in a customer-focused administration role, ideally within healthcare
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time management and organisational abilities
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
  • A genuine commitment to equity and quality care for our diverse community
