This role is suited to someone who is curious, analytical, and loves working with numbers.
As a Finance Analyst, you'll be working on analysis of our project slate that drives business growth, delivers technological change and improves financial performance.
You might be analysing financial trends to inform business decisions, driving the forecasting process to help our people make informed choices, engaging with the delivery community to deliver insights, financial modelling or identifying areas of focus to help us invest in what matters most.
With a significant investment slate in coming years, you'll play a key role in helping us shape the future portfolio finance processes and drive improved management of our project spend. You'll be working at the heart of change at ASB, bringing financial insights, supporting delivery teams and helping us make every dollar count.

As a naturally curious and proactive professional, here's what you bring to the team:
- Strong analytical skills—you're skilled at analysing complex financial data and identifying trends and insights that can inform business decisions
- Advanced Excel and Financial modelling expertise—you're experienced in developing financial models that help our people make informed choices and drive business growth
- Excellent communication skills—you're able to communicate complex financial concepts in a way that's easy for non-financial stakeholders to understand
- Collaboration and teamwork—you're a team player who is able to work effectively with stakeholders across the business to drive financial outcomes
- 3+ years of experience in finance or related analysis field —you're experienced in analysis, planning, and reporting, and have an interested in further developing your understanding of financial concepts and principles
- Ability to learn and adapt—you're curious and adaptable, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges and responsibilities as the business evolves
