About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Health Care Assistant (HCA) to join our Gastroenterology Department at Hawke’s Bay Fallen Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital. This is a full-time fixed-term position offering 80 hours per fortnight (1.0 FTE), ideal for someone who is passionate about patient care and enjoys working in a fast-paced clinical environment.
As a valued member of our team, you will support the nursing and medical staff in delivering high-quality patient care, assisting with procedures, and contributing to the smooth running of our Gastroenterology services.
About the Team/Service/ Location
Our Gastroenterology team provides essential diagnostic and treatment services for patients with gastrointestinal and liver conditions. We are a tight-knit, professional, and welcoming team dedicated to delivering the highest standards of patient care. This role is part of our expanding service, supporting the delivery of care in our newly established procedure room.
