We are looking for a Full time Food to Go Assistant /Cook with energy, creativity and passion to help us produce delicious food offerings to enhance the overall experience for our customers.
Role will Include:
- Preparing and cooking Chicken & Chips and Hot Roast Chickens
- Cooking Bread and Pies (from Frozen)
- Preparing Salads
- Pricing and labelling products in the fresh department (Seafood, Butchery, Produce)
- Ordering packaging, ingredients, other kitchen supplies
- Gathering food ingredients in preparation for cooking and serving
- Gathering pots and pans in preparation for cooking food ingredients
- Weighing and measuring ingredients
- Washing, peeling, cutting, slicing and dicing ingredients for cooking and serving
- Removing cooked food from ovens and food warmers
- Washing work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes and silverware
- Storing food supplies, equipment, utensils, dishes and silverware in refrigerators, cupboards, pantries and other storage areas

- Food Safety qualified - (training can be given)
- Confident with ordering and monitoring supplies
- Experience and knows their way around a kitchen
