Ko tā mātou mahi | Our role
This role offers unrivalled exposure, working across, up and down our business at all levels, including with our operational teams, our executive and Board, to continue to enhance assurance and business performance. You’ll play a key role in ensuring Vector’s focus on its core capabilities as well as its evolution and response to the changes our industry is undergoing.
As a senior member of the Legal & Assurance team, the GM Business Performance & Internal Audit is responsible for driving continuous improvement and providing independent assurance through a cohesive programme of reviews, maturity assessments, internal audits and initiatives to accelerate business unit performance and support Vector’s strategy.

- You’ll hold at least a Bachelors degree in a relevant field, coupled with an established track record in leading corporate and/or consulting organisations
- You champion a business-first and results focus, and effectively influence across the organisation to sustainably deliver on objectives
- You’re someone who values and builds effective relationships at all levels of organisations and with key stakeholders internally and externally
- Innovative and intuitive, you’re curious, open minded and adept at embracing and driving change whilst remaining sensitive to existing business needs
- Crucially, you successfully balance the independent assurance aspect of the role with a collaborative partnering and value enhancing focus on how we can mature, evolve and improve as a business.
