The Product Transformation and Projects team is accountable for leading the design, planning & delivery of key components of our transformation journey. We are looking for a Head of Product Transformation Design to join us on this journey.
Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
This role is a pivotal leadership position working with the executive team, senior business unit leaders, third parties and the wider organisation to establish and mature the transformation value stream design function.
We sat down with our GM Product Core Ledger Replacement, and they let us know the following about the role.
What are 5 day to day tasks the person in this role will complete?
  • Leading the enterprise through major transformation initiatives by ensuring there is close alignment and collaboration across the organisation.
  • Facilitating and co-ordinating execution efforts across Product and Technology domains.
  • Ensuring design and execution decisions provide the right outcomes for customers, colleagues and the business.
  • Supporting and guiding major initiatives through complex change.
  • Leading and managing teams in a matrix model.

What projects / work will the candidate be working on now and into the next year?

This is an exciting role providing the opportunity to work on some of our major transformation initiatives such as our core ledger and lending origination programmes of work.

This position offers a chance to support the evolution of BNZ’s core offering to our customers and colleagues. You will be a key part of ensuring new trends and industry best practice is adopted where appropriate.

What is the most challenging thing about this opportunity?
Continuing to facilitate rapid decision making capability for large scale transformation efforts across business units.

What skills are required for this role?
  • Demonstrable experience in leading large, complex change initiatives across large organisations.
