Key Responsibilities:
Desktop Support:
- Provide break-fix support for desktops, laptops (Windows/macOS), iMacs, and POS devices.
- Diagnose and replace hardware components such as HDD, RAM, motherboard, screen, keyboard, fan, and power supply.
- Assist with software installations, OS configurations, and basic application troubleshooting.
- Set up and troubleshoot POS terminals, receipt printers, barcode scanners, and card readers.
- Perform system imaging and reimaging using deployment tools or bootable media.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities in the ticketing system.
- Manage and maintain a local inventory of spare parts and tools.
Network Support:
- Provide basic onsite network support for LAN/WAN issues, cabling, and device connectivity.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to switches, access points, and patch panels.
- Support connectivity of end-user devices including desktop PCs, printers, and POS systems to the network.
- Liaise with remote network teams during network testing, configuration changes, or outage support.
- Identify and report recurring network issues to relevant teams for further analysis.
