We're looking for a trusted and experienced Senior People & Capability Advisor to join our team. In this key role, you'll provide high-quality, practical advice across a broad range of people-related matters, while actively supporting and partnering with our current team to deliver effective, people-focused solutions.
You'll also lead or contribute to People & Capability initiatives that drive continuous improvement and enhance capability across the Ministry.

Our ideal candidate will bring:
- good generalist base of experience spanning the range of people practices and experiences
- Demonstrated experience in a senior advisory role within HR or People & Capability
- A strong understanding of HR practices and relevant legislation
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
- a solution focussed approach to assessing situations using your skills, knowledge and experience to reach the best outcome for everyone
- commitment to developing your cultural capability and capacity in te ao Maori.
Whanuitanga Utu a-Tau | Salary range
Salary range for this role is $108,976 to $132,277 pa. Appointment within this range will be based on skills and experience.
