Our On Premise Key Account Manager plays a pivotal role in expanding Red Bull's presence within the catering, vending, and Limited Service Restaurants (LSR) segments. This position focuses on winning new business, growing volume, market share and distribution, all whilst ensuring we’re executed to the highest degree. By leveraging category insights and collaborating with our wider teams, you will manage key customer relationships, develop strategic joint business plans, and execute impactful trade promotions to achieve shared objectives and maximize Red Bull's market penetration.
Job Description
WIN NEW BUSINESS, GROWING VOLUME AND DISTRIBUTION IN CATERING, VENDING AND LSR
- Win, contract and grow new National Key Account Groups within the specified On Premise segments
- Support the wider On Premise team to win in the segments of Catering, Vending, and domestic Limited Service Restaurants.
- Ensure volume targets are met across the segments.
- Maintain and grow the existing account base.
- Deploy and leverage category data, and industry / consumer insights to your advantage to drive market share.
EFFECTIVE & PREMIUM BRAND EXECUTION
- Ensure segment-specific standards are executed in store and online.
- Create and execute customer joint business plans.
- Work with customers and the field team to place segment-specific POS with relevant occasion messaging to drive incremental purchases.
- Work closely with the On Premise Marketing team to deliver World of Red Bull initiatives to our consumers, through your customers.
- Deploy Red Bull consumer promotions within your segments in line with brand guidelines.
- Integrate customers within Red Bull-owned events.
- Develop and deploy 'Customer Tone of Voice' bespoke brand activations where applicable.
- Maximize effectiveness of agreed customer joint-marketing funds to drive premium brand activation
CUSTOMER MANAGEMENT
- Manage all trade investments within agreed budgets, both externally and internally, in a timely manner.
- Verify and process claims efficiently.
- Negotiate trading terms as required to improve profitability and business development outcomes.
- Set up, initiate and execute regular and effective working routines with all key customers.
INTERNAL COLLABORATION
- New Business Internal investment pitches
- Work closely with the On Premise Marketing team to drive brand activation outcomes
- Drive internal customer performance reviews with Finance Partner
- Maintain Hunting list
- Maintain Key Account Tracker
- Work with local and global stakeholders to ensure all local and international trading agreements are executed.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 Years Account Manager Experience, preferably within the focus segments
- Previous experience with an expansive network in the hospitality, and/or FMCG industry preferred.
- Preferable to have previously worked on the supplier side with leading Catering businesses and/ or Limited Service Restaurant chains
- Experience identifying win-win opportunities and ability to influence customers
- Experience in developing and executing Customer Joint Business Plans
- Proven experience in developing value add, benefits-based sell-stories
- Understands premium brand execution and activation
- Can negotiate at all levels, including senior managers
- Collaborative approach to work, with both external and internal stakeholders
- Strong commercial acumen
- Action orientated, follows through and drives outcomes to completion.
- Ability to think and act like an entrepreneur
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Social Chameleon. Understands all groups of people, whatever type of person has to deal with daily and knows how to act around them. Self-aware and able to adapt communication, presentation and professional appearance according to audience and scene.
