We have an exciting opportunity for a Pega Lead Business Architect (LBA) to join our End to End Business Process Improvement (E2EBPI) tīma (team). This is a tīma of and change delivery experts, working across the organisation to find ways to transform our colleagues' experience by delivering simplified improvements, so they can do the mahi (work) that matters.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is motivated to bring their experience and expertise and help shape our Pega practice.
It is an Auckland based hybrid role with three days in the office and two where you can work flexibly.
Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
We sat down with our Head of E2E Business Process Improvement, and they let us know the following about the tūranga (role).
What are 5 day to day tasks the person in this tūranga will complete?
- Work hands-on to design and develop, requirements gathering, workshop facilitation, use case analysis, and design workshops.
- Work with the delivery squads as needed to ensure workflows are to specification.
- Support the Product Owner to develop roadmaps, project timelines, and solutions that meet project goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
- Ensure that project documentation is accurate, timely, and meets quality standards.
What is the tīma culture and environment like?
We work in a collaborative, caring and high performing tīma. We're a curious bunch and this allows us to bounce ideas off each other, as well as, supporting each other to be successful in our roles.
What projects / mahi will the candidate be working on now and into the next year?
We want to deliver automation solutions at pace, transforming how we execute process across BNZ. The LBA plays a critical tūranga, working with stakeholders to understand needs and gather requirements that will radically simplify the colleague experience and enhance outcomes for customers. You'll be working on multiple initiatives as we look to accelerate delivery with Pega's latest technology and tools.
What is your management style?
I'll ensure you have the tools and information you need to be successful, and offer coaching and guidance whenever you need it, and support you to take independent ownership of your mahi.
What is the most exciting thing about this opportunity?
We have an ambitious plan to deliver workflow automation across BNZ. We're establishing new ways of working and leveraging modern technology to deliver to this plan. We're at the beginning of this journey so you will have an opportunity to shape the future.
What attributes will this person display in order to be successful in this tūranga?
- Strong understanding of design patterns and component-based design.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
What specific skills would be beneficial?
We're seeking a certified Pega Business Architect/ Lead Business Architect, ideally with a minimum of 5 years' experience with Pega systems and the implementation of case management / financial services modules.
We're also seeking someone who has attained Infinity 23 certification.
