Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
Lecturing opportunity for experienced health professionals with a minimum of an Undergraduate qualification, a commitment to Te Tiriti honouring development, and a passion for research and education.
The term of this appointment is from August/September 2025 to December 2026 to cover a secondment.
Successful applicants will actively engage in facilitating the delivery of the education in the undergraduate and postgraduate midwifery programmes within a Te Tiriti honouring framework. There is an expectation that appointees will also contribute to the research culture within the Faculty of Health and Environmental Sciences at AUT University.
He kōrero mōu | About you
Applicants will hold a minimum undergraduate qualification in health or science and will have a strong midwifery clinical background. The successful applicant will have a relevant teaching qualification or be committed to completing a tertiary teaching certificate. Candidates will embrace the vision and values of the School and commit to ongoing professional development supported by the AUT staff development programme.

Teaching Path Lecturer - $84,000 - $100,000 per annum (appointment level and salary commensurate with skills and experience)
Career Path Lecturer - $92,000 - $110,000 per annum (appointment level and salary commensurate with skills and experience)
