Our Energy and Utilities business is seeking an experienced Transmission Line Mechanic to join our team based in Stratford, Taupo or Palmerston North. Reporting to the Supervisor, you will work across the North Island on the Transpower network.
In the role, you will work on construction and maintenance replacement projects of network equipment and installations.
Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills
- EWRB Transmission Line Mechanic registration/licence
- National Certificate in Electrical Supply NZQF Level 4 or equivalent qualification
- Current Class 1 driver’s licence (and Class 2 preferred)
- Sound verbal and written communication skills
- Physical stamina to carry out manual work, often in trying conditions
