We are looking for a reliable Machinery Operator to join our nursery and landscaping team. This is a hands-on role that involves operating machinery, assisting with general nursery work, and supporting landscaping projects. No formal qualifications are required, and full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate tractors, loaders, and other nursery/landscaping machinery safely.
- Assist with soil preparation, planting, mulching, mowing, and general site work.
- Carry out basic machinery checks, cleaning, and minor maintenance.
- Support the team with nursery tasks such as potting, watering, and moving plants.
- Follow all health and safety procedures on site.
Skills & Requirements:
- Some experience with tractors, loaders, or machinery preferred (training available).
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team.
- Willing to work flexible hours when required.
- Current driver’s licence is an advantage.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $29.00 – $31.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
