Te Whiwhinga Mahi - Our opportunity

We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to manage the provision of a high-quality maintenance service that ensures property maintenance, planned programmes and minor capital work is accurately prioritised, processed and delivered in a timely manner and to budget.

Other key tasks include monitoring and reporting on all maintenance work and contractor performance and competence, as well as working collaboratively with other K inga Ora business units and teams to ensure that maintenance is delivered to agreed standards and that customer satisfaction targets are achieved.

Ng pumanawatanga ou - What you will bring

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A tertiary qualification in a property or maintenance-related field, or equivalent experience in construction/building and working with contractors.
  • Experience in programme maintenance workflows and building maintenance, coupled with a sound knowledge, and understanding of contract issues.
  • A customer-centric approach, with the ability to multitask and pick up new skills quickly.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • The ability to understand and apply processes, along with computer literacy with the Microsoft Office suite.

A current and full New Zealand driver's license is also required in this role.
