About the Role
As a Medical Imaging Technologist,you will work with medical imaging equipment taking x-rays for patients whilst providing quality patient care.
You will work alongside a team of skilled professionals in a friendly, patient-centred environment. There are opportunities for training, skill development, and career advancement.
This is a full-time role working 80 hours per fortnight (1.0 FTE). Shifts will be scheduled between 7:00AM - 11:00PM Monday to Sunday, with rotating and rostered on-call between 11:00PM and 8:00AM.
About the Team/Service/ Location
Our team of 20 Medical Imaging Technologists provide a comprehensive diagnostic radiology service including: General Radiography, Ultrasound,CT and Mammography

About you
As a Medical Imaging Technologist,you will have or be:
- NZ registered with the NZMRT Board, and hold a current APC in dual scope of Medical Imaging Technologist and Magnetic Resonance Technologist,
- a positive and friendly team player with great sense of humor,
- a sound knowledge of diagnostic radiography,
- great communication skills and empathy,
- the passion to deliver high-quality healthcare,
- flexibility to work within a Monday-Sunday rotating roster.
Experience with a Siemens Sola MRI is an advantage but not essential.
The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ work visa at the time of applying.
