What you will be doing
Tower's continuous journey to be a digital and data-led organization is strongly dependent on the success of its Modern Workplace Platform area of capability by delivering simple and rewarding experiences to our staff through modern, secure practices.
Reporting to the Head of Information Security, you will help accelerate Tower's strategy by owning our capability framework. Governing and developing the framework to ensure that we continuously improve our ability to understand the customer impact of a change while delivering safely and swiftly. You will be spending time in this leadership style role and on the tools
Dive into the heart of your responsibilities:
- Be the role model for the behaviours and ways of working required by our operating model.
- Connect the chapter to the overall Tower strategy in your area of capability.
- Promote a cross-business culture of empowerment over control, collaboration, and trust
- Ensure the right level of documentation is up to date and in place.
- Ensure that we create and maintain software and practices in line with ITIL process that adhere to a set of minimum standards to meet an evolving warrant of fitness.
- Support the capability of the platform to deliver outcomes swiftly and safely while improving modern workplaces and security practices within the business.
- Lead a workplace champions group to promote modern workplace, security practices and strategy.
- Drive the adoption and development of M365 and Security offerings through the champions group.
- Safely embrace AI to drive efficiency

Support the capability of the chapter and its members.
- Motivate people, build strong capability, and develop talent.
- Structure knowledge and share it across the squads and other support teams e.g. Service Desk
- Federate responsibilities where possible to provide opportunities for other capability members to step up.
- Encourage consistent and improved ways of working, including process and tooling.
- Support the capability of the platform to meet the needs of Tower business.
- Feed into the Design and Product Ideation process o Represent your area for architectural decisions o Take a holistic approach to the wider development objectives, ensuring the beautifully simple and rewarding customer experiences.
- Lead the strategy for the development and journey of the platform, working with Microsoft and business stakeholders to ensure Tower has a modernised fit for purpose capability.
What you'll need
- Demonstratable experience in training and mentoring junior staff
- 5 year's hands on experience, an expert within the Microsoft 365 stack.
- Previous experience of servant leadership and ability to influence and relate to colleagues at all levels.
- Excellent collaborator across all teams to achieve best possible customer experiences
- Experience of delivering change the required to grow and evolve a team in line with strategic goals, whilst delivering business values.
- Stakeholder management and negotiation experience.
- Experience in working in scaled Agile delivery and ways of working.
- Deep demonstratable understanding of Modern Workplace practices. Such as:
- Microsoft 365 applications
- Microsoft Intune
- Microsoft Entra ID o Microsoft Azure product suite.
- Good understanding of MacOS, iOS and Android management with Intune
- Good understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Broad understanding of Co-pilot suite
