We have an exciting opportunity to join our Workplace Technology team as a Senior Technical Specialist - Productivity. This is a senior role in an energised and engaged team where you'll have the opportunity to play a key part in delivering the Workplace vision as well as leading and mentoring other team members.
This position is Auckland or Wellington based and is a hybrid role with two days where you can work flexibly.

What are some of the day to day tasks the person in this role will complete?
As a senior member of the team, you'll play a lead role in the management and enhancement of the tools our colleagues need to create and share content and ideas, including:
- Content Storage & Sharing – SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Loop, Microsoft Stream
- Enterprise Productivity Suite – Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Copilot etc.), Adobe Suite.
- Low code app platform – Microsoft Power Platform – Power Apps & Power Automate.
- Incident and problem management – ability to support the team in remediating issues that arise
You will also be the go-to expert for the tech we deliver and own. This will include handling complex issues and working with the team and mentor junior team members.

- Strong communication skills, including the ability to influence without authority.
- A passion for mentoring and sharing knowledge to help each other grow and make the team prosper.
- Working with key stakeholders, being a Workplace Technology brand ambassador within BNZ.
What specific tech skills would be beneficial?
- Understanding of the wider Microsoft 365 ecosystem is a must.
- SharePoint expert - Extensive experience with SharePoint Online and OneDrive.
- Microsoft 365 genius – Help our team unlock the full potential of Microsoft 365. Dive into exciting tools like Microsoft Loop and Power Platform, make productivity fun and engaging.
- Security minded - Understanding of security concepts and how to implement these in an enterprise environment.
Project delivery skills
- Project pro - Work closely with your Platform Lead to deliver projects with key stakeholders.
- Cloud migrations – Experience with delivering storage migrations to SharePoint Online and OneDrive.
