About The Role
As a Mower Operator, you’ll play a key role in keeping Marlborough's parks, reserves, and high-profile spaces looking their best. Your daily work will involve:
- Operating ride-on mowers to maintain sports fields and green spaces
- Weed eating, edging, and push mowing for those finer finishing touches
- Performing basic maintenance to keep equipment in top condition
- Meeting client expectations with a high standard of presentation and care
What You’ll Bring
- Experience operating ride-on mowers and small plant equipment
- A full, current driver’s licence (manual required; Class 2 a bonus)
- Good level of physical fitness as this role doesn't just require you to sit on your mower
- Basic technology skills would be beneficial
- A strong commitment to health and safety, and a positive, can-do attitude
- A willingness to learn, grow, and be a valuable part of the team!

We offer full time staff guaranteed work hours with the ability to increase based on operational demands. We also offer a performance-based salary that is reviewed annually, an annual wellness benefit of $300 after qualifying period and a work phone permitted for personal use.
