We are seeking a fixed term (18 Month) full-time SMO to join our team of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Consultants to cover Sabbatical leave. We have the enviable position of working in an environment that welcomes innovative practice so your contribution and style of work will need to complement our drive to deliver excellence. We are seeking Consultants who enjoy working collaboratively with the larger team and is interested in service development.
Our specialists work in both Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Our service provides acute Obstetric care across two hospital sites and acute Gynaecologic services at North Shore Hospital (NSH). Specialists work in outpatient Obstetrics and Gynaecology clinics and perform Gynaecologic surgery.
The successful candidates will be required to work in both obstetrics and gynaecology, across both sites at Waitakere and North Shore Hospitals, which include after hours on call commitments. As part of an experienced team, you will be also involved in clinical governance and service improvement activities and teaching.
We would be particularly interested to hear from specialists with expertise and special interests in the following areas: Obstetrics, Endometriosis/ Advanced laparoscopy, pelvic pain, complex gynaecological surgeries, colposcopy, vulva disease.
