We have the opportunity available to join the National Public Health Service (NPHS) Protection team as a Principal Analyst in the Major Projects team. This is a fixed-term, full-time role.
The primary purpose of the role is to support the Surveillance Migration Project. This will require the provision of strong technical and professional subject matter expertise resulting in the building of surveillance dashboards. The end goal of this project is to ensure there are surveillance insights available to allow the roll of the NDMS system.

About you
Our preferred candidate will have:
- Data leadership experience, blending strategic thinking with technical expertise. You're driven by the opportunity to influence decision-making and achieve better outcomes.
- Expertise in data visualization tools and techniques for creating compelling dashboards and actionable insights.
- Expertise in business intelligence tools like PowerBI, Snowflake, R, along with proficiency in SQL and UI/UX skills. An ideal candidate will also have the ability to turn requirements into technical solution options.
- Skills in building and maintaining relationships to understand business needs and communicate data driven solutions.
- 10+ years' experience supported with qualifications in an area relevant to statistics, data management, data analytics, data science with a deep understanding of how to use analytics to create business value.
