The role;
Our Produce and Seafood departments are the first fresh food areas customers see — and we aim to impress with colourful, seasonal displays and top-quality products.
As a Produce & Seafood Assistant, you’ll be on the shop floor throughout the day, keeping shelves stocked, displays looking great, and customers happy. It’s an energetic, hands-on role that combines customer service, physical work, and a real passion for fresh food.
Your responsibilities will include:

Keeping displays full, fresh, and visually appealing
- Interacting with customers and offering great service

Rotating stock to ensure freshness and quality

Lifting and moving boxes and crates

Working in and out of the chiller
- Completing stocktakes and highlighting weekly specials
We have a part time role available working 26.5 hours per week on the following roster:
Monday 12pm - 8:30pm
Thursday 12:30pm - 9pm
Friday 3pm - 8:30pm
Saturday 2:30pm - 8:30pm
What We’re Looking For
- Passionate about fresh food and customer service
- Reliable, hardworking, and physically fit
- Positive, team-oriented, and keen to learn
- Open to picking up extra hours from time to time
- Comfortable working in a busy, hands-on environment
- Be eligible to work in New Zealand
- Be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Be physically able to meet the demands of the role
