Join Farmlands as our new Product Compliance Manager within the dynamic Merchandising Team, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and compliance of our extensive range of agricultural products.
Reporting to the Head of Commercial Services, you will lead and coordinate all aspects of product compliance — from regulatory adherence and sustainability certifications like BioGro and ACVM, to label validation, safety data sheets, ESG reporting and quality assurance testing.
Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining audit readiness, supporting ethical sourcing and safeguarding Farmlands’ reputation as a trusted cooperative serving New Zealand’s farmers and growers.
This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of a cooperative committed to improving profitability and productivity for the rural community, while championing innovation and compliance across diverse product categories including fencing, electrical goods, horticulture, animal health and agricultural chemicals.

You are a detail-oriented and proactive professional with a strong background in product compliance, regulatory frameworks and quality assurance within the agricultural or related sectors.
Your ability to navigate complex local, national and international regulations ensures products meet all necessary standards and certifications. You excel in stakeholder communication, bringing clarity and confidence to compliance processes while driving continuous improvement and efficiency. A natural problem-solver, you take pride in safeguarding ethical sourcing and mitigating supply chain risks.
