Project Management and Executive Support – Auckland

Scania New Zealand is seeking someone highly motivated and experienced in Project Management to lead strategic initiatives and support executive operations. This exciting dual-role offers a unique opportunity to manage impactful projects while working closely with the Managing Director and Executive Management Team.

About the Role
This position is split between Project Management (70%) and Executive Administrative Support (30%), offering variety, challenge, and the chance to make a real difference.

Project Management Responsibilities
Project Preparation
  • Develop strategic project plans, budgets, and risk management frameworks
  • Establish project structures and review directives for improvement
  • Present project proposals and plans to the executive team
Project Execution
  • Lead and manage project delivery, ensuring alignment with timelines and budgets
  • Monitor performance metrics and report progress
  • Facilitate stakeholder communication and lead project meetings
  • Identify and escalate risks or deviations early
  • Motivate and guide project teams to achieve goals


Project Conclusion
  • Ensure successful project closure and fulfilment
  • Prepare and present final reports
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aligned with the Scania Way


Executive Administrative Support
  • Act as a key liaison between the Managing Director, EMT, and wider business
  • Coordinate communication with customers, branches, and departments
  • Manage calendars, meeting logistics, and executive deliverables
  • Organise internal and external functions and events
