About the role
Our Property Advisor will play a crucial role in advising and supporting a wide range of property, facilities and fleet matters such as undertaking due diligence on option agreements, completing negotiations for new easement, lease or licence agreements, undertaking rent reviews, extensions or variations to existing contracts or negotiating make-good for sites we choose to exit.
In this role you will be focused on supporting our asset development, generation, LPG and corporate teams preparing acquisition or disposal plans, undertaking analysis to support the plans with a focus on cost saving / avoidance or alignment to business unit objectives. You will delve into the data and provide insightful dashboards and information to report on health and safety metrics, fleet and property utilisation, portfolio risks and expenditure to support decision making.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Support and advise on key projects and advise on property processes, timelines, budgets and risks.
- Develop, maintain and keep current PowerBI dashboards / property systems with relevant and targeted property, fleet and facilities information to facilitate reporting requirements
- Maintaining property and fleet information in our various information systems.
- Managing the acquisition or disposal process for our fleet vehicles, facilities and property leases/easements/licences including, obtaining all internal approvals, engaging vendors, overseeing documentation and feeding into the evaluation processes.
Please note that this is a 12-month fixed term position.
About you
With exceptional communication you will form sound relationships with key stakeholders from site and regional managers, internal and external legal, procurement, tenants, landlords and property and/or business associations. You will also have;
- A relevant qualification and experience in the property sector and genuine interest in property and land transactions.
- Sound negotiation skills and experience reviewing a range of property transactions and agreements. Experience with crown transactions would be advantageous.
- You possess a keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills. Experience with PowerBI would be advantageous.
- A continuous improvement mindset and a positive, can-do attitude.
