NZ Police are offering an opportunity to join the Police Prosecution Service (PPS) as a Prosecution Support Officer (PSO) based in Manukau Police Hub

In your role you will provide administrative support to the PPS office, to enable its effective operation. Responsibilities include working with, processing, and administratively managing prosecution files, including recording and extracting relevant information, checking accuracy and completeness, administering necessary follow ups (including as directed by PPS staff), use and management of databases and spreadsheets, and responding to and/or directing queries that come into the PPS office. Through building an excellent knowledge of Police and Ministry of Justice processes, data bases, and operating procedures you will be an important part of the Criminal Justice Sector. Ultimately, if you want to take on a challenging but rewarding role that through your direct involvement will affect people's lives by assisting them to be and feel safe, then this could be the opportunity that defines you and presents the opportunity to serve your community.

  • On appointment, the successful candidate must reside within commutable distance to Manukau Police Hub

This is part-time role (20hrs weekly) we are flexible about how those hours are structured and are happy to discuss options with the successful candidate.

This role is set at Individual Contributor level, this means your key purpose is "to deliver or enable others to deliver Our Business".

Utu a-tau | Salary

This position is covered by a collective agreement and salary will commence between $63,526 and $66,312 dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
