What is the job?
As our Regional Operations Manager based at CLAAS Harvest Centre – Waikato in Hamilton you will be responsible and accountable for the achievement of service and parts (aftersales) goals and business objectives for CLAAS Harvest Centres in Hamilton and Whangārei.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring our aftersales teams are carrying out work safely and efficiently
- Being accountable for the achievement of aftersales budgets and team and customer engagement
- Engaging with customers to improve relationships and grow aftersales revenue
- Leading from the front, supporting your leaders and teams with coaching, mentoring, directing and training
- Collaborating across the business to support our customers and help deliver company objectives
- Solidifying CLAAS Harvest Centre as the preferred service & parts partner to farmers & contractors in the region.
Who are you?
- An experienced leader, you know when to coach, when to direct and when to support
- You have mechanical aptitude with a good understanding of how long work should take and you’re quick to understand concepts related to service and repair of large equipment
- You enjoy finding a balance between customer satisfaction, quality and profit, whilst keeping people safe
- As a skilled communicator and negotiator you have experience managing customer expectations and can help other people learn these skills
- With a strong affinity with farming, agriculture and those that work the land you are passionate about gearing up farmers to succeed.
