Job Description
He aha te tūranga - About the role:
We are looking for an experienced retail manager with a strong passion for community and a drive for success. You will oversee the day-to-day operation of our Helensville store. You will be working 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week. This role offers a huge amount of variety and autonomy.
Key responsibilities include
- Overseeing and managing shop operations and stock levels
- Managing shop revenue and achieving sales targets
- Promoting and marketing the store locally
- Managing and maintaining store displays, and setting the pricing of stock
- Rostering staff, leading and motivating volunteers and staff members
- Generating monthly reports and forecasting
- Encouraging and supporting exceptional customer service
Qualifications
Ko wai koe - About you:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience in retail management, visual merchandising and an interest in second-hand goods
- Proven experience managing a team of volunteers
- A highly motivated "can-do" attitude, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing store needs and opportunities
- A results-driven mindset, with a passion for thriving on success and achieving set targets
- Ability to recruit, lead and motivate volunteers
- Great relationship building skills and strong community focus
