We are seeking a confident and collaborative professional to join our Personal Banking Risk team as a Risk & Compliance Analyst, playing a key role in maintaining a strong and proactive risk culture across the division, and ensuring our operations are both compliant and efficient.
Te Tūranga | The role:
In this role, you will support the team in delivering key compliance and operational risk activities that enhance our control environment and strengthen our risk culture.
Working closely with different teams, you will drive the performance of control testing and assurance, assist in monitoring key risk indicators, support the preparation of risk reporting for internal committees and stakeholders, and contribute to the identification and management of risk across Personal Banking. You will also help shape risk culture initiatives and provide input on risk-related matters that drive continuous improvement.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop your expertise in risk and compliance while playing an integral role in a team committed to delivering meaningful outcomes across the Personal Banking division.
Ō pūkenga | About you:
To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of three years' experience in financial services, ideally with a background in risk or compliance. You are confident in your ability to navigate complex environments, proactive in identifying opportunities, and personable in your approach to building relationships.
You demonstrate strong analytical skills and attention to detail, and communicate with clarity and professionalism across a wide range of stakeholders. You thrive in collaborative settings, contribute positively to team culture, and bring a growth mindset to your work. You are committed to continuous learning and development, consistently seeking ways to enhance your capability and support the team in achieving its objectives.
