Are you passionate about animal health, agriculture, and building strong relationships in your rural community? Vet Marlborough is on the lookout for a Rural Business Coordinator to join our Blenheim-based team.
This is a key role focused on the growth of our large animal and farm services through hands-on merchandising, client support, marketing, and inventory management. You’ll be working closely with our veterinarians and farming clients to ensure the right products are delivered with the right advice—backed by exceptional service and a collaborative, down-to-earth team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with our farm clients
- Offering expert advice on rural animal health products and their applications
- Managing and marketing veterinary merchandise (with support from Vets Central's marketing team)
- Coordinating product orders, stock levels, and supplier communications
- Identifying growth opportunities and executing seasonal promotions, newsletters, and client events
- Supporting the Large Animal team in annual health planning
- Assisting customer support and veterinary teams when required
Our Ideal Candidate:
- A solid understanding of rural or farming environments
- Great people skills and a knack for building rapport
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Confidence with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Initiative, self-motivation, and a willingness to get stuck in
- Experience in merchandising or sales is a bonus
- A full NZ driver’s licence
