Te Turanga | The Role
As a Senior Adviser in the Frontline Regulators team, you'll support engagement with and oversight of licensed supervisors - Anchorage, Covenant, NZ Guardian Trust, Public Trust, and Trustees Executors. Most of these entities are based in Auckland, so ideally the Senior Adviser will be based there as well.
We're seeking someone with a strong working knowledge of the financial markets and of entities involved in managed scheme investment activities.
In this role, your work will include leading efforts across several areas, such as:
- Leading monitoring, assessment, and advisory activities.
- Delivering external engagements.
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining new and existing regulatory regimes, and engaging with stakeholders.
He korero mou | About you
We're looking for someone with experience in the investment management sector. To succeed in this role, you'll ideally be confident in the following areas:
- Understanding how risk and entity frameworks, policies, and procedures operate.
- Investigating, assessing, or triaging incidents, compliance breaches, and operational failures.
- Assessing compliance with relevant regulatory and legal requirements.
We're also keen to hear from you if you have experience advising, auditing, or consulting in the investment management sector, or if you've held a relevant regulatory role.
You'll bring strong analytical and communication skills, and be adept at building and maintaining relationships through your pragmatism, positive attitude, and willingness to learn and grow.
