What you’ll do:
As a trusted advisor to NZME’s senior leadership, you’ll deliver strategic insights that drive performance across our digital, print and editorial teams. You’ll lead reporting and analysis, support planning and forecasting, and champion AI-led automation to streamline processes and unlock efficiencies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering high-quality commercial and strategic advice
- Leading performance reporting and analysis
- Supporting planning, budgeting and forecasting cycles
- Identifying risks, opportunities and driving continuous improvement
- Building strong stakeholder relationships across NZME
What you’ll bring:
The successful candidate will have a finance or other similar qualification with several years of relevant experience in finance and commercial roles. The candidate will have strong stakeholder management skills and a positive attitude, enjoying being part of a team driving strong performance. The successful applicant will have demonstrated work experience with financial systems and analytical tools e.g. Power BI, Planful (or similar reporting systems) and databases and be an early adaptor of AI automation and applications e.g. Microsoft CoPilot.
