Additionally, this role will support the wider Network and Disruption Communications team to help Aucklanders stay safe in a civil defence emergency.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Develop and deliver effective communication and engagement plans to help customers get around on the transport network and stay informed when there are changes (e.g. launching a new bus route or ensuring people are aware of a major road or rail closure).
- Develop engagement strategies to help keep our key stakeholders (including MPs, Councillors, Local Boards and business associations) informed of transport changes or disruptions in their areas.
- Support project teams and contractors in resolving stakeholder and community issues and lead proactive engagement strategies that showcase AT/NZTA's efforts to manage the transport network and minimise disruptions.
As part of the wider Network and Disruptions Communication team, you will work to ensure AT and NZTA maintain a high standard of consistent, external communications about the transport network and how to get around.
If you're looking for a purpose driven role where you'll make a positive impact on Aucklander's daily lives and you're passionate about delivering high-quality communications, we'd love to hear from you.
