About the opportunity

We are looking for versatile individuals who are passionate about problem solving and have the perseverance to change clinical practice. You enjoy scientific research, understanding fundamentals of complex problems, experimental testing, prototyping and innovation. You value taking initiative, ownership of problems and methodically finding novel and inventive solutions. You demonstrate skills in analysing complex data sets and extracting meaningful conclusions. Your strong communication and collaboration abilities will enable you to contribute effectively within the team. Understanding the needs of patients is a key motivating factor to your problem-solving approach.
About you
We are looking for applicants with 5+ years of experience and a qualification in an Engineering or Scientific discipline. You may have experience with some or all the following:
- Mathematical simulations
- Data analysis and signal processing
- Experience working with clinical and physiological data
- Range of programming languages including Python, Matlab and LabVIEW
- Product testing and documentation
- Computer Aided Engineering (CAE)
- Knowledge of respiratory physiology and therapies
- Designing, machining and moulding prototypes
- Networking with clinicians and hospital staff
