We're looking for a seasoned Senior Programme Manager to lead Immigration New Zealand's Future Services programme-a large-scale, multi-year transformation initiative. This role will drive the delivery of a modernised visa service model, including migration to the ADEPT system and retirement of legacy platforms. You'll ensure programme integration, manage complex stakeholder relationships across MBIE, and provide strong oversight and reporting. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strategic thinking, programme delivery expertise, and the ability to bring together diverse workstreams into a cohesive, future-ready service model.
- Extensive public sector leadership experience with a proven track record of delivering successful outcomes and building capability.
- Strong programme and project management expertise, including delivery in complex public policy and regulatory environments.
- Deep understanding of the public sector, including policy, regulatory, financial management, and government decision-making processes.
- Proven experience managing large-scale programmes, investment business cases, and organisational operating model design.
- Strategic and analytical thinking, with the ability to translate ideas into actionable plans and balance technical detail with business impact.
Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility across senior leadership.
Must be a NZ citizen or hold a permanent residence class visa
