The global dairy market is amongst the most volatile commodity markets in the world, so the ability to understand and anticipate the drivers of this price volatility is important. Fonterra’s Supply, Demand & Pricing Insights team is responsible for generating insights into the outlook for global dairy supply & demand fundamentals, and the implications for dairy price forecasts as well as key decisions across the Co-op.

In this highly influential role, you will report into Supply, Demand & Price Insights Manager and will inform on Fonterra’s tactical and strategic decision-making through generating insights on global dairy market dynamics. Working closely with decision-makers across the Strategy & Optimisation business unit and beyond, you will challenge perspectives as you develop timely insights to maximise value.

Coupled with your background in economics or finance you will either have experience or knowledge of commodity markets & have an analytical mindset that allows you to make sense of a broad variety of data.
