Bearsley Exports specialises in the export marketing of high quality fresh produce to customers throughout Asia Pacific, Europe, UK and USA. We’re looking for a Shipping & Office Administrator to join our team and help us deliver excellence from orchard to overseas.

About the Role

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, as our Shipping & Office Administrator, you’ll be at the heart of our export operations. You’ll manage shipping documentation, accounts receivable, and provide essential office support. Key responsibilities will include -

  • Managing export documentation and ensure compliance with international regulations
  • Processing invoices, credit memos, and foreign currency receipts
  • Coordinating shipping bookings and documentation from start to finish
  • Collaborating with internal teams to meet deadlines and maintain workflow
  • Communicating regularly with leadership on progress, challenges, and priorities

About You

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, values accuracy, and can confidently navigate the demands of international logistics. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate -

  • Experience in managing and completing export documentation, ideally within the fresh produce sector
  • Familiarity a working understanding of CEDO, SLI, PHYTO, Bill of Lading, Express Release, and Customs Declarations
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Business Central 365 and PRODOC (a plus, not a must)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Calm under pressure, highly flexible, and an excellent communicator
